Encouragement Consulting Services is a full service program development and facilitation company founded by John Leonard Harris (M.Ed., SHRM, HRAM) that specializes in personal and professional development programs for educational, corporate, religious, community and civic organizations.
We listen to what our clients need and design programs tailored to exceed their expectations. There is no cookie cutter process with us. Every program is developed to provide an impactful, meaningful and productive experience for all involved.
What program participants say about us and what we do.
“Great job! I’m glad it was more of a discussion than a workshop. The program exceeded my expectations and that the workshop addressed issues of diversity which are more than race, gender and religion. It challenged notions of what was and wasn’t diversity.”
“Great presenter and presentation! Bring him back again! John Harris is an excellent speaker who strives to reach out to the audience with humor, thought-provoking information and a desire for clear understanding on delicate issues. He was very good at getting the audience to open up and speak.”
“The best workshop ever! What a great presenter. I’m guessing Mr. Harris could give a workshop on paperclips and keep our attention! Great speaker and very informational. Let’s have him back again!”
“Excellent! The most involvement I’ve seen in a workshop in a long time. Great facilitator-good choice! The workshop left me with a sense of rejuvenation, optimism and energized me to enjoy and do an even better job.”

John Leonard Harris has revised his popular program celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Thrusted into the Movement” is an exciting new take on his King experience.
In this presentation John Leonard Harris walks the audience through the unbelievable experience of getting a copy of the original Dr. King speech. The presentation explores: the thrill of listening to the voice of one of the nation’s greatest leaders and how it impacted him.
It is John’s desire that those who hear his story will be impacted by the lessons he learned from Dr. King (and many others) and understand their responsibility as a champion of justice.
