One Sunday nearly three years ago while preaching a sermon about love from 1 Corinthians chapter 13, Pastor John read, “Love is patient and love is kind.” These were not words that he had never read before, but on this day something was different. Then, he said something that was not in his sermon notes. He said, “You can be kind to people that you do not love, but you cannot say that you love someone and not be kind.”
These words became the beginnings of a personal ministry and a movement to share the kindness of Christ with everyone, everywhere. The next thing you know, “BE KIND!” was seen on buttons, bumper stickers, yard signs and wristbands. John bought magnets and put the words on his car and others have followed suit. “BE KIND!” is a thing . . . a real thing.
Now, John takes the message of kindness with him and offers everyone that he meets the opportunity to be a part of the “army of kindness” all across the country and the world.
He wants everyone to embrace the opportunity to share kindness, take it with them and bring others along.
